With a 150mm x 100mm stage, Merlin is ideal for measuring 2D features of small, intricate parts. Data processing is performed by a powerful QC-300 video microprocessor which features with a high resolution touch-screen colour display plus an array of video measurement tools.
It is exceptionally easy to use and can be used by shift workers or advanced users alike.Connectivity includes USB, parallel and serial ports for use with printers and on computer networks.
QC-300
The QC-300 video microprocessor is a mid-level control interface, designed to utilise the benefits of video measurement, with Video Edge Detection for enhanced throughput measurements, measurement of form features, or features both inside and outside the field of view.
It features a high resolution touch-screen colour display plus an array of video measurement tools, including simple crosshair measurement, offset crosshair for difficult-to-find edges, manual or automatic single point detection and multi-point Video Edge Detection.
A consistent, intuitive interface ensures operator accuracy and reduces training time. With the patented Measure MagicŪ feature, operators can inspect multiple features without taking their eyes off the part, increasing throughput, improving accuracy and reducing user fatigue.
Other features include part programming facility, ability to obtain essential intersection and construction results and geometric tolerancing. As standard, QC-300 can accommodate English, French, German and Italian
