These high resolution, micro rigid endoscopes, give really superb eyepiece images. With diameters as small as 1mm and lengths upto nearly 400mm, they allow even the most challenging components to be inspected.
With so many rigid endoscopes on the market, we tried to choose a range of miniature scopes with a difference. The Optimax range of miniature endoscopes, have ahuge range of viewing angles, lengths and tip combinations. They also allow rotation even at 1mm and can even be purchased as a "combi" allow a single scope to be supplied with both forward and side view screw on tips without the diadvantages normally associated with mirror tubes.
If you are having problems with broken scopes in harsh environments, these scopes are comparitively robust for their tiny dimensions. They are also available in semi flexible format, using 6 or 12k Micro Quartz fibers in order to transmit the image to the eyepiece. This allows a far greater "bend" tollerance on the instrument shaft, before damage occurs. But ultimately they are UK made and rebuildable, should the worst ever happen!!
